Hi everyone. So, I have applied for a study permit ammendment in respect of that work on or off campus note, I didn't have one. A month has passed, I have contacted CIC via case specific enquiry form, but it takes 10 business days for them to reply and I obviously couldn't reach an agent via phone. Meanwhile, I have tickets bought to travel home for a holiday, which are quite expensive. So, apparently, I can't re-enter canada without Study Permit even having valid temporary resident visa. I wanted to ask someone who has received that ammendment, how does CIC send it back. Is it a regular mail which goes into the mailbox or does it require some sort of signature and id to receive it? I'm asking cause if it is the first case, my friends can pick it up from my mailbox and send it over to me. Appreciate your help.

You can use the original SP & TRV. By applying for an amendment, doesn't mean your permit is void.
