Your baby with US passport will be admitted to Canada on visitor status. You can start the out land sponsorship paperwork as soon as possible when arrived in Canada to regularize the baby's residential status.

If the Canadian boyfriend is a citizen and either was born in Canada or immigrated to Canada, your baby will be a Canadian citizen. You can bring the baby over as a visitor or a US passport or birth certificate and the boyfriend can apply for the citizenship certificate from within Canada, takes about 5 months. If the Canadian boyfriend was not born in Canada and did not immigrate to Canada, that means the he gained his citizenship by being born outside Canada but having Canadian parents, he can not pass citizenship and will need to sponsor his baby for PR instead. As for yourself, you would have visitor status in Canada. That means you can stay up to 6 months and not work or study with the exception of courses that are less than 6 months in length and do not give college credits. If you want Permanent Residency, the easiest way to get it for your boyfriend to sponsor you. However, in order to sponsor you, you either must be married or you have lived together as a couple for at least 12 months.
