Am I on an Implied status ?

Im from India currently living in SK, Canada. I have mailed my application to Mississauga for my PR (IN Canada spouse sponsorship) a month ago on 20th Sep 2016 and I still cannot look it up online on the search tool or when i try to link the application.. My visitors status here expires shortly on December 12th 2016
When will they approximately begin the process?
Am i on an Implied status and can stay here since they have already received my Application but not opened it yet?
Can i stay here if they have not yet begun processing until December 12th?
Will they still process my application if my visitors status here expires by then since i had sent my application when i still had a visitors status here?
I am really concerned and highly stressed out about this.
Please reply..

Did you apply for the open work permit too? The PR application doesn't have a status associated to it until it's approved. So if not, apply for the OWP, once you send it, you're under implied worker status until they decide. You can't work until they send it to you.

You have implied status. Once you have some response from them, you know they won't return the app. That is when you know for sure you'll have a OWP in about 4 months.

If they return your app, fix it as fast as possible Nd resubmit before your visitor status expires.

As already confirmed, you currently have Implied Status...but...

If your PR application is returned, due to missing form(s), outdated form(s), missing signature(s), your Implied Status could be jeopardized. This also applies if you did not pay the full amount for the OWP, which is $255 ($155 + $100 Permit Holder Fee).
