Hello All...

I am willing to apply under NOC 2113 Geologists, Geochemists and Geophysicists. Please have a look at my Job Responsibilities and let me know if I am eligible or not.
Here are my Job Responsibilities:
Duties:

• Manage the overall operation of the Positioning Department including control of all positioning aspects of survey operations (planning and execution) and on board navigation processing.
• Conduct theoretical and applied research to extend knowledge of surface and subsurface features of the earth, its history and the operation of physical, chemical and biological systems that control its evolution.
• Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of all positioning products for internal and external clients.
• Responsible for planning and executing surveys such that the positioning products meet the necessary quality acceptance criteria. Monitored all positioning aspects of the operation and ensure that positioning and auxiliary services are performed to the required specifications.
• Plan, direct and participate in seismic, electromagnetic, magnetic, gravimetric, radiometric, radar and other remote sensing programs.
• Supervise the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of all equipment and systems within the department to comply with the manufacturers specifications and company best practices, standards and schedules.
• Develop applied software for the analysis and interpretation of data.
• In charge of cost effective maintenance and utilization of the equipment inventory for the department including an appropriate level of spare parts.
• Responsible for carrying out 3D,4D and WAZ(Wide Azimuth) seismic surveys.
• Operating and maintaining the positioning equipments including the data collection. QC positioning data and condition and reprocess.
• Monitoring all positioning aspects of the operation and assisting in installation, operation, maintenance and repair of all equipment and systems within the department.
• Responsible for running the positioning machines and monitor the performance of company positioning equipment.
-To be responsible for in-depth analysis of seismic data and QC products. Ensure that seismic data acceptance adheres to sound geophysical principles and conforms to survey specifications, and client operational needs. Perform data analysis to determine if operationally efficient acquisition techniques will impact the seismic data quality.
• Knowledge of Trinav, Online Data Acquisition and Offline Data Conditioning.
• Installed various GPS units, gyros and antennas on vessel. Also responsible for rigging the tailbuoy units, testing the Q-Fins, calibrating the Seatrack 220 and Seatrack 330’s.
• Responsible for the Pre Mobilization/ Mobilization of the equipments.
• Controlling fleet communications and maintaining Line logs & Daily logs.
• Active member of LPT (Loss Prevention Team).
• Offline processing of navigation data for final acceptance by clients.
• Liase with client representatives/office personnel to access quality of data. Perform additional seismic processing and qc tests as requested by client onboard. Perform daily seismic acquisition documentation and report writing.
