Hello there,
I have been in canada as a student to learn english and study engineering for 6 years, 2 months, 17 days (2267 days). So my question is:
- am I eligible to get a PR?
if yes:
- do I need a lawyer?
if no:
- what do I need to get my PR ?!

I my questions sounds stupid but I'm really lost in all these unorganized websites they have for immigrations ::)

No - you certainly aren't eligible for citizenship. Only permanent residents are eligible for citizenship.

Taking courses alone does not qualify you to apply for PR.

To qualify to apply for PR, you have to meet the criteria of one of the programs below:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

Whether you need a lawyer or not depends on whether you are willing to research in detail the immigration programs in the link above to determine if you qualify to apply. If you don't want to or don't feel comfortable doing the research yourself - then hire a lawyer.

If you have graduated from that engineering degree, I am pretty sure you can get a 3 year long PGWP. Once you get that, go get a job, work there and while you're doing that, go talk to a lawyer. I am sure you need one. Good luck.
