Hello everyone, just a small query, I am an international student and have earned 5000$ here in Canada in last 12 months, I am earning the same amount which I was earning earlier as less than 1000$, so according to rules if you are earning less than 1000$ then you are eligible, just want to clarify if I got it right, please it would mean a lot if someone could clarify. I am working in essential services btw

No, you certainly do NOT qualify. A requirement is having LOST income due to COVID-19. As you are earning the same amount as before, you have NOT lost income. If you claim the benefit, you will be committing fraud.

You don't qualify, it's as simple as that . Essential services or not
