Am i able to take unofficial break

I am a student in sheridan college. And I am supposed to be graduate on this december. Unfortunately, I dropped two courses. So, I am planning to take a break and planning to continue my studies on may. But I am not planning to work on these 4 months. And my study permit will expire in march. so, is it ok if i apply for my study permit extension on february?

To my opinion, yeah you can as you havent switched any college or course and the break is with the prior consultation with the college office. You can apply for extension with details to why u dropped your course and why starting in a delayed intake May 23.
