Hi everyone,
I've been in canada for 4years now and been a food service supervisor for 2years last January so I immediately applied for CEC which was received January26 in Nova Scotia. I am waiting for the AOR up to this time but something happened. I had a word fight with my boss and its not the first time that this happened, it's been a long time that I wanna leave this company but since I was determined to complete my 2year skilled experience, I didn't leave and instead I just take it all and now I just want to quit. I found another company and they gave me a positive LMO, not as a supervisor but a food counter attendant, will this affect my CEC application? Or should I just stay with current employer who does not treat me right? I don't know what action to take. Please advise me.

Remaining with same employer is not a pre-requisite to get a positive CEC review.

CEC is based on your PREVIOUS experience in Canada - assuming you meet all the required criteria.

If you switch jobs now, it will have no bearing on your application.

It will have no bearing on your application. However, since you applied with the experience from that job it is possible that CIC may call them to verify information. To that end, if you want to leave try to do it on a good note. No one should have to work in an unhealthy environment.
