Allowed to leave Canada- can I get study permit now?

i have visited USA last December-January & i have 5 years multiple B1/B2 visa. I also visited Canada on January 2014 & I am carrying a Bangladeshi passport.

My case is, i have visited Niagara Falls while I was in USA & i just wanted to ask the immigration officer if it is possible to go to Canadian side of Niagara to take a few pictures then be back within minutes. My Canadian visa was expired by then. The officer responded negatively & gave me a paper stated "allowed to leave Canada" which is pursuant to subsection 42.(1) of the immigration and refugee protection regulation. Also written reason for inadmissibility : "41(A) 11(1) R7(1)" He also scanned my passport but did not write or seal anything on the passport.

I have a plan to apply for student visa in Canada in this September. Now my question is, will I face any problems regarding this issue? Should i state it on application form? Does it mean I was inadmissible? Do they keep records of such cases? Will i face any problem if I don't mention it? Please help me answering the questions. I am much tensed and it'll be very helpful. Thanks.

Thanks a lot. Just one more thing, what if I don't mention this in any forms? Will I be facing any problems? Does this form mean i was rejected visa once?
