Hi all, as you know CIC recently released a news release about the new FSW program on 26 April 2014, which will be effective from 1 May 2014. The article can seen on the link as mentioned.

Although the actual selection factors is not yet released, I hope almost all of the selection factors will remain same except the proof of funds as it is increased every year. The good news is there are 50 eligible occupations stream with 1000 sub caps in each occupations. Overall 25000 cap has been allocated this year.

If you are planning for FSW 2014 please make sure you have your latest IELTS or CELPIP at least CLB level 7, Proof of funds, Work experience, Education Credential Report and so on.

Anybody began ECA processing from Nepal? What is the criteria of submitting educational transcripts? Is it okay just to send transcripts in a sealed envelope or Do we need university registrar to fill out the forms designed by WES?

Thanks. Can I ask one more query to you? Here is : Is it possible to apply for 3234 noc 'paramedical occupations' as my spouse is a registered nurse and she works at Emergency department. In my case it may take a few months to prepare documentation so I am afraid that I can not make caps for nursing occupation by that period of time.I ,therefore.,thinking to find out other related options to reserve a seat for canadian PR.

If your wife has eligible occupations listed above then she can apply being a principal applicant and you can be dependant. However she must pass all the minimum selection requirements. I think the quota is quite high this time but act immediately.

I found that few people are confused regarding WES Document credentials.
If you are from Nepal and completed degree from T.U

You must submit all the bachelors level attested transcript (mark sheet). However certificate doesn't have to be attested, you can send them yourself with your transcript but you need to attach the transcript request form signed by TU or other university. Make sure if its TU they will provide this in a sealed envelope and you keep this envelope inside other and send together to WES Canada. I prefer DHL as they are quite fast and reasonable from Nepal.

Also create online account for WES Canada. https://www.wes.org/ca/apply/cicapplication.asp
First fill all the information and submit your application. If you have relatives in Canada you may ask them to pay on your behalf or you may send draft to them or pay with your Card if it has international transaction facility.

You will get reference once you submit your application online. Make sure you have a address in Nepal where letters arrive, i suggest you open post box in post office and use this address as correspondence in WES as well as CIC.
