Alberta employee, BC employer- am i eligible for BC PNP??PLEASE I NEED UR HELP!

Hello Experts,

My employer is willing to sponsor me for my permanent residency as soon as possible.They have business located here in Alberta (Hospitality Industry) as well which is im currently working for 1 year and just renewed my work permit for 2 more years.
Yet, they live in British Columbia (BC).

My questions are:

1. Am i elegible to apply for BC PNP even i worked here in Alberta but my employer lives in BC?
2. Is there any options where they can sponsor especially applying BC PNP rather than waiting for 3 years here in Alberta to apply for AINP?
3. Or do I have to move to BC to qualify for PNP?
4. Or is there any suggestions???

Please i really need your help..

I cannot sleep because of this...

I think in order to apply BCPNP you don't have to live in BC. But the company have to be settle in BC to sponsor you. They are going to ask for documents.. And proof that you are qualified for the job... And they want you to be attach to the Province. You can see the requeriments in the BCPNP web site. Good Luck.

thank you so much for the response. AS what I understood, eventhough I worked here in Alberta I am eligible to apply for BCPNP. My employer will just provide documents some kind of letter that i work here in Alberta Province.Am I correct? Is that what you meant???

If Im eligible, what BC PNP category/stream should i apply? What are the forms, and first thing to do first???


I read the BCPNP but still I cannot find the answers for my questions yet.

Sorry right now my mind is not functioning well. : I need specific answers please..

Hello there, I am not sure that if you work will be in alberta you can apply BCPNP... For my understanding Your future work and company have to be settle in BC in order to apply. One of the most important thing is demostrate that you are going to contribute with the ecomomy of the province.. If you will be work for another province is not case.It is only an opinion I am not sure..Maybe somebody else will give you any other advise... Good Luck
