Hey guys, I am not clear of what to look for in NOC. It goes #0-9. I believe I am in 7.- Trades, Transport and Equipment Operators and Related Occupations. Does that mean I will be qulified only in category 7? and my friend told me that I can find any job that is in category 0, A and B to apply for PR. I am now working in a dealership as a lot person, since auto mechanic is also available for me to go for, would it work if i work in there for a year and I will be qulified??
thanks guys

Look at this matrix to see which occupations are O, A, or B...
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/html/Matrix.html

key word search "aircraft mechanic"
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/SearchKeywordResult.aspx?val11=aircraft+mechanic&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0

You are qualified in whatever occupation(s) you have experience in. O,A, and B are considered "skilled".
