Aip letter lost in delivery..helpppp..inland

I (sponsor) got my aip letter..my wife's letter was lost in mail delivery...so in november 1st i called cic..they said that they have to givea 2 weeks notice to vegreville to issue my wife a new copy.. Finaly when i called the cic ,an agent told me that they ve mailed a new copy on november 28 and i should get it by december 19...but as of today i got nothing... The cic people are not able to tell me if theere is any other doc request along with that letter...what else can i do other than waiting? Do you guys think canada post takes more than 4 weeks to deliver a simple letter?

hi, if you have a copy of your app. check if you put the right mailing address.If all correct then wait few more days and contact them again.

Thanks for reply...the address has been updated in ecas website many month ago and also when i re quested the letter for the second time...myblatest address was verfied by cic agent just to make sure...i m looking for some sort of timeline by our beloved canada post..

It's Christmas season , there are so many Christmas card and parcels will be sent..... That's why Canada post office had remind you to sent any letters, cards etc before December 2....
You know even you send something from A city to B city which you can drive just only 50 minutes if you send it in Christmas time , it can take about 3 weeks....
So be patient.....
