I am having trouble understanding how to fill a few forms. My wife is Canadian and I am applying through PNP with Alberta Nomination.
My biggest problem is I do not know where to include my wife and where not to.
For example, in the generic application it says : How many family members are in this application ?
In the guide it explains that as: Indicate the total number of family members included in your application. This includes yourself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany you to Canada or not.

My question is, my wife is not even on the application. She is already a Canadian and the application is purely only for me. But she is a family member. Do I answer that as 1 or 2?

Please reply as I am very very very confused and have been for weeks.

Your wife can sponsor u and u can apply for PR under sponsorship application..so just u know.

If ur work permit is expiring soon u can also get new work permit under PILOT program from government bcz ur wife is Canadian citizen.

I am not sure for your question, but I have updated my marital status to common law by using 'AINP Request to add/remove Family Members Form' and my boyfriend is Canadian.
On that form, it states 'only list the family members who are not already Canadian citizens or PR of Canada'. So I just filled my information and changed to common law, but left my boyfriend's information blank.....as they states only list the person who is not Canadian...

For your case, I think you need to say '2' as the guide states.

thank you for your responses.
I was a little unclear. I already received the nomination and am now filling the PNP forms. This is confusing me as to which I should fill on wifes behalf and which I should not.
