AINP application (A regulated occupation - APEGA) requirement

I am planning to apply under AINP-Strategic Recruitment Stream, Post-Graduate Worker Category

I am a mechanical engineer and in the checklist of AINP requires me to submit Evidence of certification/license/registration in a regulated occupation mean?Huh

Will No objection certificate from APEGA work? or I need to send something else as I am registered with APEGA as foreign licensee and still working on getting on my P. Eng.

I am also a foreign applicant with APEGA (civil engineering discipline) and got my nomination from AINP with just the no objection letter.

I will be applying for the Letter of no objection. I am a civil engineer and hoping to use my present job (Planning Engineer) with a construction company to apply....hope it works out.

I guess the letter of no objection is a generic letter, spoke to someone and he said the letter just says "APEGA has no objection to a company offering you employment.....also, cannot practice engineering independently since not registered" something like that.

Thanks. Also I have been asking this question everywhere but haven't really gotten an answer. As per the rough timelines for SRS Post graduate worker cat., do you think 2 years left on the post grad work permit is enough to receive nomination and be able to extend work permit if I apply by mid June 2015? I am NOC 2133.

Hope you will get nomination before expiry of your work permit. In 2012 we got nomination in one month time, now it is increased more than a year.

where can I find this information? It seems like they do not have any processing time information anywhere

It was there earlier, now they have removed the processing time from AINP website? You can apply under EE, it will be faster.

I will be applying through that as well forfor CEC except the only problem is that without LMO and nomination my points are just below 400.
