AINP (Alberta's PNP Program) Approved, Federal Immigration?

Hi there,

I got my AINP Skilled Worker Category nomination and have done my CIC requested medical exam. Wondering what the next steps are and how long it takes.

The next step after getting your PNP nomination is applying for PR.

You can see this here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/index.asp
You need the 2nd step called "Apply".

There is also a link there to check processing times.

Hi Leon,

Thanks for replying to my post.

I checked the link and it mentions that it would take about 13 months for the Federal part of the immigration process for the Ottawa office but doesn't give any breakdown for each phase of the Federal process.

I am currently on the stage where my medical exams have been received by CIC.

Would you know how long does it take for getting the passport request after doing the medical and what the following next steps along with their respective timeframes would look like.
