Smooth. Although i lost my bag ..found it later.. Etihad staff was really helpful.

Same here. The line to the immigration officer in Toronto was long. It will only take approx 10 mins to get the study permit once you talk to the officer. For those who are landing in toronto, dont forget to bring one canadian dollar with you if you want to use carts at the airport. When I was there the currency exchange was closed and the machine will not take US dollars.
