Agency required for canada migration?

Hi friends..
Pls help. Me and husband planning for a PR. We consulted with one agency, is that requried or we alone can do all process.
Pls share step by step process.

An agency is not required.

However, if you feel you cannot do the research - such as finding the step by step guide for your program online - you should hire a consultant. Make sure they won't submit fake documents on your behalf.

If there are complications on your case then hiring an immigration lawyer will be good. A consultant is not an immigration lawyer.
