Check NDVO threads, although you might like to be fair for everyone - since, its India - they look at lot of things in a traditional manner whereas age gaps are pretty common in western world and no so common back there

This is true. How they perceive the age gap varies per region. For India, they accept large age gaps if the man is older but they are not as tolerant for when the woman is older, even if the age gap is relative small. CIC has rejected a female applicant from India who was just 5 years older than her sponsor, though an education gap also existed (she was more educated). Seems like they think the common norm in India is the man being more educated and older.

I am 9 years older than my husband. :P

He is from the UK, and we have been together for 5 years so we had no issues with the age difference.

There's 4 years between myself and my spouse; I certainly hope that it isn't an issue!! :o

4 years is trivial for your situation. Should not be a problem at all.
