After two months of landing

Dear forum members

I have landed in Toronto on 5th of november and stayed at my cousin's appartment and my family also arrived on 29th of december and now i have shifted to my appartment from first of january 2013.Nowi am little bit tensed how things will be handled with no job.I request my Pakistani and indian community to help me finding a job of my field(no problem if it is of entry level) Iam a finance person with several years experience(both national and multinational) i will be greatful if somebody helps me in this regard...

To get 1st break it can take 5-6 months or more. If you feel that your finances would be strained during this period, I will recommed go for survival job and in the meanwhile go through the co op program to get some Canadian experience. With the type of experience you have stated you will get a job in ur field.

Hey..have you done your credential assessment? If yes please register with Career Bridge asap. There are many internships openings offered by RBC and Scotia Bank for new immigrants

Its really tough during the first 8-12 months for new comers. I did volunteering work for 7 months before landing in my job at Target. If your finance is okay please try to do some volunteering related to your field. You get more details from www.volunteertoronto.com and www.charityvillage.com
