After the sponsorship is done, what happens to the application package?

Hi All

Once the sponsorship is approved and done, what happens with the application package? Someone told me that they sponsored their wife before and included mailing labels because that was a requirement in their checklist. But the new checklists didn't have that. Anyone know?

Once it's done, it's probably filed away somewhere at CIC for future references if needed. Some VO send the relationship proofs back, without being asked. Some don't. Mine didn't, but since it's mostly photocopies and pictures printed, I didn't really care.
