Hi there..! I have applied to family class with my wife as a sponsor back in december 2011, they received on 15 december 2011 . In 05 may 2012 I did the medical exam .They update my status ''medical results have been received '' same month on 16 may 2012..from that date I have the same status....and now its OCTOBER , almost 5 months ...What should I expect...next ....? On 15 december comming...its gonna be a year ""PROCESSING"...I really don't know....I feel frustrate...BIG TIME...! Hope you can cool me off...Thx!

Without having full information on your case it is hard to tell, but usually you are meant to have completed the medical before you submit the full application. As your medical results were only received by the VO in May of this year it is possible that the processing time could start from that point.

Yes you are right Romania is up to an 8 month wait. However you have to include stage 1 which is likely to have been 2 or 3 months as well. Because you never done your medical prior to sending your application in, I would presume that they started your processing once you sent them the medicals they required. Therefore I would take that 8 month waiting time from May. It would appear that you are in the 5th month or the possible 8 month waiting time. You should be very very close now, hold tight it is all you can do.

..Processing time it's up to 8 months but every file its different, look at my time line... :-\; also your file will be delayed because of your medical exam which you did it a long way after you subbmited your application.
Since you don't have any updated on ecas that it means they don't work on your file yet.
You could try email them and request about your stauts, usually they answer of our requirements quite fast.

The fact you did your medical so late (i.e. didn't complete the medical before submitting your original application) is likely the reason why your processing is taking longer.
