Hi,

my parents are in india. I have applied for their PR and recently I have received CIC's email for their medical. I have forwarded to them.

On the other side, they have Canada's Visitor visa and will expire in October 2016.

My question is,

Once they complete medical examination in India, meanwhile can they visit Canada?

Once they come to Canada on Visitor Visa, can they get PR status staying in Canada or do they need to go back to India to get PR status?

Please reply as soon as possible because CIC has asked to submit all documents within a month.

We are confused whether they should visit this summer or wait for PR?

Any help will be appreciated

Thank you

They can come visit once their medicals are done. Don't expect them to be able to stay. They should go back to India to get their PR visas. At the border, they have to be clear that they are just visiting - they should have return tickets, proof of ties to India, etc.
