Hi,

I've cleared the interview on Nov 28th 2011. And the visa officer asked me to proceed for medicals.
In the letter which I got after the interview says " you have to send the following documents together to Canadian Consulate General NewYork".

a) Updated IMM 0008, Schedule A, IMM 5406 forms(As the form have changed)
b) RPRF fees- certified cheques
c) Medical exam receipt (That the medical examination is done by DMP)

I'm little confused as there are two address in NewYork.
1) Consulate General of Canada
Immigration Regional Program Centre
1 HSBC Center
Buffalo, New York
14203-2884, USA

2) Consulate General of Canada
Immigration Section
1251 Avenue of the Americas
Concourse Level
New York, New York
10020-1175, USA

Initially I sent my application to 1 HSBC center, Buffalo. And I attended the interview at 1251 Avenue of Americas, NewYork.

Could anyone plz advise as where do I send the documents?

Thank you

Was your file transferred to New York and that's why you had interview at New York location?

'Canadian Consulate General NewYork' means: 1251 Avenue of the Americas, Concourse Level, New York, New York, 10020-1175, USA

Also, can you shed a little light on why an interview was scheduled for you and what did they ask? I have somebody close who has been scheduled an interview and any information from your side would be very helpful.

Congratulations on clearing the interview...now it should be a smooth ride.

No.. I lived in NJ hence NY is the nearest counsellate, the file was not transferred.

Interview : just a random process that my application was selected for interview.

The interviewer made me comfortable, he questioned regarding work experience & ENglish ( IELTS score ) & certain generic questions.
thats all... hope this info helps your friend.

congratulation :). plz share with us interview question.

Congratulations Kumar. You're well on your way!
You and I are one of the few to get interviewed. Most of the people here had their interview waived. ;)

Who interviewed you? My interviewer was a very nice lady and never made me feel scared or intimidated at all.

Anyway, all my docs went to this address after:

Consulate General of Canada
Immigration Section
1251 Avenue of the Americas
Concourse Level
New York, New York
