I am immigrant Parent of high school student who is finishing next year.

He is interested in a few year course and wants to land in a job or a course which has blend of work experience and study. Interested in Computer Science.. i am thinking College or University in terms job prospect...

I have seen some colleges in GTA offer Honors Degree in Computer accredited by University. My question is this same as Honors from University in terms of Job prospect?

Prefer the colleges - Job prospect wise (after completing short term courses) and flexibility compared to University courses.

Are you a PR? Is your son a PR? Typically I would say university is better as the education will have more value. And with internship opportunities in engineering, one will be able to gain work experience.
