Yes you can certainly, you just need to extend your study permit by showing your admission letter in the advanced diploma program and your bank statement which shows that you can sustain yourself for another year...Usually international departments in the colleges can help you out with it...I have heard many people who applied for their advanced diploma after completing it for 2 years.
