After doing the medicals, when's the deadline to submit the application?

Hi everyone...

Brief info: I'm a Canadian citizen who recently got married to an Indonesian citizen. We are still in the process of completing the (mountainous ;D) sponsorship application.

The designated medical practitioner here in Indonesia is in a different city from where we live. So, we are contemplating of having my wife (the Indonesian) do the medical examination ASAP, just to save time....so that by the time we finished compiling all the necessary documents, we will already have obtained the piece of paper (I believe called the "copy 2 of the medical report-section A") that (presumably?) the doctor will give my wife, and we can send the whole package right away to CPC-M.

The question is: let's suppose we did the medical exam today, and we already got the "copy 2 of the medical report-section A". When would you guys recommend that we submit the whole sponsorship package (including the copy 2 of the medical report-section A of course) to CPC-M then? No later than a week after? A month after? 2 months after?

You want to maximize the validity time of your wife's medicals, which is 12 months from the date they are performed, because once the PR visa is issued, its own validity will match that of the medicals!

So, I'd recommend leaving the medicals as the last thing to get done before submitting your application package. You are advised to complete all the forms and supporting documents plus all the checking and double checking before doing the medical exams.
