Afghan National in 3rd country facing deportation

I am afghan National who was born in Saudi Arabia and who lived his entire life there. I am Hazara who considered a minority in Afghanistan. A minority which face torture and execution in Afghanistan..
I am facing fear of getting deported to Afghanistan because of my employer.
Hear me out..

Employment and residency in Saudi Arabia for non citizens is based on Iqamas - temporary residency permit - which allows the employer to make Work absence notice "Horoob" and therefore when the Gov Immigration officers catch you, you'll get deported.

I have been employed and working for this employer for a year now.. and recently discovered this employer evading the VAT taxes. We're in retail and he sells every week around $5000 USD worth of products without invoice.

On one occasion he sold the entire inventory of one shop with no invoice which was valued around $150000 USD within the cour8of 3 months.

I work as an inventory manager director of products.. I didn't know about his illegal work until recently which i discovered as he wrote in a A4 paper his products sale performance for the previous quarter Apr-Jun.

He's a The CEO and the owner of the business. I of course confronted him and expressed my frustrations because not only this is illegal but also i will get jailed and get deported.

Next I applied to another job so I won't be risking myself keep working for a criminal.

In Saudi Arabia, if you're a foreigner, you can't pick and choose your workplace easily.. you can't move yourself out unless the employer ("Kafeel" or "Sponsor" in legal term) transfer you from his own company to another.

I got work transfer from another employer.. so current Employer clicks his approval on Computer.. But He doesn't! Instead he threatened to make "Work Absence "Horoob" request to the government to deport me if i move to another work because he's afraid of his illegal works. And he's threatening me just to stay working for his illegal work.

I am scared now as I can't go to Afghanistan.. matter of face i have never been there nor do i know its official language. I am afraid the employer will make Deportation request one day if he doesn't want anymore for his work.

That's why I'm thinking to seek refuge in Canada and to have recognition.

I keep trying to contact the local UNHCR office as i want to deliver to them my bad situation. But i believe it's so busy thesedays.

I think the only option for you right now would be to get a TRV / visitor visa to Canada, to travel to Canada, and then try claiming asylum when you arrive. The issue with this is that it may be quite difficult for you to get a TRV approved. But you can certainly try.

Otherwise I think you will have to go the route of approaching UNHCR and being recognized as a refugee by UNHCR. They would then decide where you are resettled.

It's extremely hard to get TRV considering I'm afghani national with no ties to Afghanistan - since i was born in Saudi - and also with a temporary status in Saudi Arabia.

I'm trying to contact the UNHCR and fingers crossed they answer my calls.

Have tried another countries or you are considering Canada as the only option for now? If you can obtain TRV, then you can claim refugee once you arrive in Canada

I picked Canada because it's the only nation to have Special refugee program for Vulnerable afghan Nationals and also it's the only nation to accept afghans without UNHCR refugee status if they met certain condition.. one of them is being one of vulnerable groups.

The UNHCR office in Saudi Arabia doesn't give Refugee status because Saudi is non-signatory state to the UNHCR therefore they're only allowed to refer cases to the Canadian embassy or Canadian Immigration agency.

I keep praying everyday they answer my calls.
