Affidavit of support (Sponsorship letter)

Hi,
I've made a sponsorship letter which states that my father will support me for my master's study. However, they have mentioned that he will attach a salary certificate along with bank statements when we had told that he has his business and as such doesn't have a salary. Any idea what I can do (except making a new one since it's costly). I was told to white out that part in the photocopy but wouldn't that be illegal?

Attached an LOE and explain what you are submitting and why it's different than the affidavit.

Where should I attach it. In the same section where they are asking for financial documents or where they tell additional documents can be submitted (I presumed that's for the letter where I write stuff about myself, forgot the name of that doc)
