hello
I have an issue in Canada and I hope somebody gives me advice

I am currently in Canada with an open work permit ( visa already expire and already apply before expiring time for an extension and still in process)
I arrest by police with a minor assault sec 266 and crown council will probably consider conditional discharge for my file, I want to now that what is the effect of this sentence on my immigration status in Canada since my wife is a student and my visa is dependent of my wife visa and we have the plan to apply PR after her study was finish.

If you get a conditional discharge, you will be fine. Conditional discharge = non conviction which means you are admissible.
