Hi Senior Members,

Need some help regarding the tourist visa that I am planning to apply for my fiancee

I am currently an international student in Canada. I plan to apply a multiple entry visitor visa for my fiancee before we are officially married so that she can visit me.

I have some doubts which I could not get clarified on going through some of the threads.

1. Assuming she is granted the visitor visa, and we get married and she is landing in Canada after getting married to me, would there be any issue in the port of entry?

2. Assuming she is granted the visitor visa, and she visits Canada before we are officially married, and then plans for a visit later on - would there be an issue at the port of entry(this would be her second entry) due to the change in relationship status?

3. Incase the visitor visa gets rejected, would it affect the subsequent visa applications that we make in future(work permit/PR)?

Please provide the link in case any of these questions have been answered already.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers!

Landing? Only permanent residents can "land".

What do you actually want to know?

Future work permit/PR no.

Future TRVs yes.
