Advise needed..

I have submitted my application for PR and the information can be seen in my Signature below. I have Admission letter from Dal University for Sep 15 intake. I just wanted your thoughts on when should I apply for my student Visa, since it's unlikely that I will get PR before mid July. I will apply under University Category, so will I have to keep funds in my account and buy a GIC both whenever I land in Canada?

Dear Friend,

In your situation, I would suggest that you apply for your study permit asap. The process to apply form outside Canada can take a long time.

Secondly Your PR application will not Impact your study permit application.

Thirdly Follow all the process required to get a study permit, that includes depositing a $10000 GIC and paying your Tuition fees.
Other then this you applying for the University category of PR, is your call. Masters category is a little tough to crack as there are provincial rules that impact the decision. PHD category is more relaxed.
