Hello! my name is Sergiu, I am new on this site. I'd like to find a job offer in Canada, but don't know how to do it, I need some helpe. I will be very grateful if someone could help me with some advice!

Hi,

You can search on these websites for a job which requires your qualifications

www.jobbank.gc.ca
www.monster.ca
www.workopolis.com.
www.wowjobs.ca

It may be sometime before your efforts will yield results as employers in Canada are required to go through the lengthy process of applying for a LMO from HRSDC which takes anything between 1-2 months & once you have a positive/neutral LMO you would need to apply for work permit from your home country.

you may end up waiting for anywhere between 3-4 months after being recruited before you land in Canada. Patience is one quality you must possess.

Best of luck in your endeavour.....

Just an update, I'm going through the process right now and LMO applications are currently taking well over 2 months.

Hi GoldenArm,

Will you please share which state is your employer from?

Sure - Ontario.

I'm applying from Australia, but my company is using Immigration Lawyers based in Toronto to help with the process. More info about my application (my NOC Code etc.) is in my profile.

I've been through this process before (in 2007) and it took way less time. No idea why they are so incompetent all of a sudden.
