Hi have applied through the nominee program from July and I haven't heard anything as yet. Since my one year as a financial analyst was Sept 26th should I apply under CEC as well? OR should I patiently wait? Thoughts?

I suggest that you wait a little bit more if you can. Your PNP is not that far away. As you said you are eligible for CEC now, so you have that up your sleeve. See how your NSNP turns out.

Good luck,

In my experience only, my nomination via OPNP took around 13 months. It was excruciatingly slow and hence I applied under CEC. In my opinion, CEC processing tends to be quicker than PNP.

I would say why not go for both.

will there by any issue if you apply in both CEC and NSNP? I believe these are independent processes right?
Again, since all recommendations finally has to go through CIC - it should not get bottleneck later.. does anybody have any opinion?
