Been thinking about this for a while now, have done a fair bit of reading but I cant seem to come up with any solid answers.
Me and my wife are looking to move to Canada to work. We are both full UK citizens, 31 and 29 respectively. My wifes brother lives over there and is a full Canadian citizen, married with kids etc. Hes lived there for over 15 years now.
I am an accounts administrator with 6 years of experience and Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) levels 2-3 (not 4 which is the final level, although i could potential do this if it was a deal breaker). I think, although am not sure, that i could qualify for the '1311 Accounting technicians and bookkeepers' classification. I am university educated, although not in the field i now work in (media production BA Hons). My wife works in retail and does acting work on the side, but is also educated to university level (performing arts BA Hons).
Do we stand any chance of getting a visa? Would we need to have a job offer/s in advance or would we be able to move over and live with my wifes brother until we could get jobs sorted?
