I have following situation.
My Visitors permit expires next month.
I got ITA in the last round.
I am awaiting for medical test in 10 days as no early dates are possible.
Also gathering PCC for one of countries I lived in, not from all of them.

What to do after documents submission?

get ur visitor visa extended

Visitor visa will get me no positive advantage. In future it could only cause problem on getting work permit.

So you think staying in Canada after your visitor visa expires is better?

You have an application going on in CIC's system and that's probably a good enough ground for an visitor visa extension

I actually want work permit to be able to work officially, if you understand what I mean.
What about application to a work permit?

You don't qualify for a work permit unless you have an approved LMIA. Do you have an approved LMIA?

If not, you need to apply to extend your visitor visa.

I do not have LMIA, why would I need it if I apply under express entry.
I am still trying to find what should do a person who are in Canada on visitors permit after expiration of work permit.
So please clarify.

Ok lets assume I will apply for a visitors visa? What is the closes place to Toronto where I could get visa extension, not permit itself or visitors record but both visa+permit?
I have job offer in EU and most likely will spend there a year or 2. But it would be helpful to have Canadian visa just in case I need to live somewhere)

So what you can suggest in getting visa

You don't necessarily need to apply under EE. But EE is the permanent residence program. It has got nothing to do with how Canada gives work permits. To just stay in canada without working you can extend your visitor visa.

If you wan to work, it seems, like you need a LMIA. Most work permits in canada are given based on having an LMIA approved job. There are some LMIA-exempt categories though but they mostly need canadian education or a canadian resident spouse.

LOL

I got ITA and next week I will submit my application package to get AOR.
I already found job but it is only for those who can work freely without LMIA, the only question now, at which stage I can get work permit.
Obviously since document submission till PR would be 6 month period. Why I cannot work during that time?
I am already selected in express entry because I have 474 points

Even getting ITA does not grant you the right to work in canada, the first official step is the PR, so till then you have either to get a work permit to be able to work (considering LMIA) or extend your visitor visa and also you won't be able to work.

You always can work unofficially, so its only difference.
Is there any step during PR application where you can get work permit before you granted PR?

I meant to say, you don't need ita for ee, in first line. Apart from that, what I meant is just because somebody has applied for PR doesn't mean Canada gives them open work permits. You have to go the same way everyone else does if you want to work here. Generally, you have to get a LMIA.
