Good Morning Everyone!
We as a family of 5 from the US, are in the process of getting all our paperwork in order to apply for PR status. My wife and I are waiting for our AEO's from emloyers in Calgary, and are getting everything else in order. We have learned so much from this site already, but we have a question regarding the paperwork. How important is it for you to list every single job that you held for the employer references? My wife is no problem since she has only held a few positions, but I on the other hand have had many of jobs, some of which are no longer open and I cannot remember every job I did hold. Also, I have been self employeed for the past 3 years, till the end of 2009, closed due to the horrible economy. How will all this affect our ability to get PR status, or am I worring for no reason. Does having a AEO speed up the process at all, since we both have employers waiting for us?
Any insight would greatly be appreciated. We are looking forward to starting our new lives and having real oppurtunities for our children in Canada as soon as possible!
