My bf and I met online years ago. We intend to get married and he move to Canada. What is the quickest/best thing for us to do? Also the most economical thing to do?
He was born and raised in Sweden, but has dual citizenship with Turkey. However, his Turkish passport expired and he has not renewed it (if this is of any relevance). His only official work experience is being a supervisor at Sweden’s equivalent of Canandian Tire. Also he didn’t complete high school.
After we have tied the knot in Canada, what should our next step be? We apply for outland or inland sponsorship? To clarify, he can live with me while we wait for the decision? And he can get a work permit in the meantime?
If outland, can he come visit me in Canada for a couple of weeks during the waiting period? If he is approved he will receive a PR card and is able to work and get health benefits?
