advice for getting visitor visa

Hi All,

I'm thinking of sponsoring my wife inland. We currently live in US. I have a job offer in Canada which I accepted. So we need to apply for a visitor visa for her to come to Canada to start the application process. On the application, should we explicitly state that we are looking to stay in Canada? Or should we come up with a reason why she would come back to US?
