Advice for applying PR with Study Permit

Hello,

I currently have a study permit in process, but stuck because of the current situation. I was planing to apply PR once study permit was approved, but now considering the situation I am confused what to do.

My question is what consequences can I face for submitting application for express entry while my study permit is still under progress?

For information
1) I have recieved my AIP (first stage approval fro study permit)
2) My program is funded PhD
