So I got a request to upload a scanned copy of my IELTS result today. Per the instructions prior to submission, this was not required. I've read about people submitting them, but left it out since this was something they can verify and wasn't in the instructions. While this may not be the case for everyone, I guess it is better to upload IELTS result than not to and perhaps supportive documents that would strengthen the application
