Question: If someone has migraited to Canada under family class and included their children on their application...what is the process when the children are adults. I am trying to help a family friend with her papers. She is already in Canada and has been for about a year plus. She is trying to file for her grown son who is I believe 28 or 29. He is on her application but did not come same time. What is the process and fees so I can assist her? Thank you so much

she cannot bring her adult son because they have to be i think 18 years or under or after October 2017 under 22 I could be wrong correct me

He is not a dependent and therefore cannot be sponsored. If he wants to immigrate, he needs to look at meeting the requirements to qualify through one of the economic streams.

How was he included in her application?
Like previously mentioned he isn't a dependent anymore.
