Adult Application Clause 9C

I called today to ask about 9C, officer advised to check yes and there is no need to fill CIT-0177. Pls share your experiences if somebody called and ask the same to immigrant officer.

If you lived outside of Canada in the eligibility period, you can tick either Yes or No.
This is a mistake on IRCC as they created the form wrong for this question and you do not need to fill out the "Crown Servent" form if you tick yes as, I don't think CIT 0177 applies to you.
When you send in your application the officer who is reviewing it will know.
