Admission requirements to PhD in chemical engineering don’t ask to secure a supervisor rather recommend it, I want to know how easy is to get the admission without having a supervisor already in place .

I contacted couple of supervisors and they didn’t answer my email

Chances of admission will be much higher if you secure a supervisor. Would try to identify a supervisor who does similar research to your field of interest and include a short description of your area of interest and thesis topics you are interested in. Keep the email short and to the point. In admission process those who have lined up a supervisor have a much better chance of admission.
