Could you please suggest me how much time it took?
I applied for Masters in Computer Science for September 2021 intake on 15th December 2020.
I asked them via mail but haven't received any response.

All depends when applications were due and when the graduate admissions committee meets. For September programs you should get a response by June.

I got rejected from UNBC. got following message.

Thank you for your application to a Graduate Program at the University of Northern British Columbia.
Following a detailed review of your submitted application and supporting documentation, your application has been denied for the following reason:
· The admission process is a competitive one in which the selection committee takes into consideration all factors including grade point average, relevant academic background, quality of letter of intent/proposal, references and relevant work experience (if applicable). Unfortunately, the committee felt that your application was not as competitive as those of other applicants for the available positions.
