Hi Friends,

I have a problem regarding the address.

The address mentioned in my Daughter's National Identity Card is our old address,

and the address on the National Identity Card of me and my wife's if the new one.

Please let me know what are the possible solution for this issue?

You have no problem here as I can see. It is not even worth mentioning in a cover letter. Not an issue at all. Why would it actually be?

But I am afraid, because I am going to attach the copies of NIC cards,
Hence, they may notice the difference between our addreses

So, should I mention the same address for my daughter as my address?
OR

the one, which is mention in her National Identity Card?

You should mention your actual address. If your daughter lives with you, then put the same address for her too. If not, then put different. It is not a problem anyways. Why do you think it ever might become a problem?

I can tell you how it works in Russia. People are moving from one city to another and sometimes they study or work in Moscow or Saint Petersburg while their national ID's show their old addresses (e.g. their native city where their parents live). Because noone will ever register you in a rented apartment permanently and only permanent residential addresses are put in the national ID's. This is just to explain that authorities are aware of this situation and it has never become a problem. Canada asks where you actually reside, so put that actual address, that's it.

It is also not a problem as CIC is aware of such names discrepancies, you are not the very first and the only applicant of nationality where it is a common issue to have or not to have "Bin" in different documents. If I were you, I would mention this discrepancy in the cover letter, something like "Please also note that in some documents I am referred to as Muhammad Kashif Farooq while in others I am referred to as Muhammad Kashif Bin Farooq. These two names are equal and the minor discrepancy occurs as in our country it is not mandatory to put "Bin" in the full name for some documents while for others it is a must."
