Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping that someone who may have found themselves in a similar situation can comment here - my wife was able to provide her 3 most recent addresses, however there are a couple little rental apartments (at the bottom of the list, ie, the least recent addresses) that she that she cannot remember the street name and number for and so we just put 'Various Rental Apartments' and 'Addresses unknown.'

Has anyone else found themselves in this situation?

Yes - my husband had two addresses he couldn't remember exactly (he had to provide 30 years of history).

My advice to you would be to split these addresses out into separate lines (i.e. one line for each address she can't remember) and indicate as much information as your wife can remember for each one. For example, she should try her best to remember how long she was at each address (i.e. approximately month/year to approximate month/year), indicate the street if she remembers for each, indicate the city for each. etc.

That's how my husband approached this problem.

Hope this helps!

Perhaps Google Maps street view could help you track down some of these? I used it to wander around the general area I knew I lived in for one semester and found what I thought was my apartment. Shortly thereafter, I managed to track someone down who actually had that address of mine (from 13 years ago) on record and confirmed exactly the address I had found using Google street view.

Or maybe friends or family might have one of the addresses in an old address book? I tried that approach (unsuccessfully) before I thought of Google Maps street view.

Worst case scenario, I would be as specific as you can with whatever details you can supply describing where you used to live.

I would do the same thing with Google Street View. I've used it so many times - even to get a friend's address to mail them something! I knew where they lived because I had driven there so I could locate them on the map and then zoom in on the house for the street number.

Otherwise, I'd type the city name in an e-mail search to see if she had e-mailed anyone her address at that time.

Other than that, be as descriptive as possible... but there must be a way to find out!
