Hi just preparing documents in case I get an ITA. In one case I cannot provide a letter from my employer (due to jim retiring and closing the business 10 years ago). I have looked on the Internet but am unable to trace him. I'm declaring in a letter I'm front of a notary public my job title, responsibilities etc. I will also be providing the tax summary and tax returns for the payslips I received during that period. I'm also providing proof from the Chamber of Commerce in my country the business closed 10 years ago.
If anyone else is in the same position ensure your address on the pay slips is the same as what you report in your 'adress' history. Any slip up and it could be perceived as 'misrepresentation'. In my case my address has always been the same but for others it may be different.
For those of you looking to prove your address, providing payslips/tax retuens ay be the answer you're looking for.
