Address added to the CIC site

Hi All,

I have just checked on the electronic immigration checker on the CIC site and I have noticed that our address has now been added, still sitting on IN PROGRESS and no update on the receipt of our medicals. Has this happened to anyone else and what does it mean?

If the address added is the Canadian address with shipping address as your current address then, congratulations your Visa has been stamped and you should be getting the same in a few days with other documents

I would like to ask , if your address was missing for some days? are you presently in Canada. I am asking because the member who replied to you talked about Canadian address.

I am in the same boat like you , still in process and no information about medicals still waiting. please i am waiting to hear from you.

Guys he's from LVO.......just done with his medicals .....he has still not recd PPR

LVO issues PPR separately and not with MR.

About the local mailing address updated in ecas, its for all MI2 and 3 applicants.....it means nothin.....neither bad nor good for ur appln

Many people reported lately that their address reappeared on ecas.
None of those who reported address reappearance has updated of any other major news ( I am referring to ones I am aware of by reading what I have noticed to be posted).

My subjective conclusion is that there is no update that follows after this latest reported address reappearance on e-cas (it could be just a change or update in e-cas system itself with no correlation to CIC case processing , or it could be some internal touch of file without any verbal or official updates).

Hi New 2 Canada,

The address that has appeared is the Canadian Address for our Immigration Attorney as they have been the mailing contact throughout our process.
