Hi folks,
I'm doing my PR Card renewal at present, and am looking at the "additional proof of residency" parts of the application.
I spent 678 days outside of Canada within the past five years. Not anywhere near the quota you're allowed, but still a considerable amount.
Currently, I've got my 2013 and 2014 CRA Notice of Assessment forms to use as additional evidence of my residency here. However, during those two years I spent approximately six months of each year away, so my income for those years is low.
Should I attach further information to show my continued residency in Canada? I can get my employer to write a confirmation of employment letter, stating when I started working for them for instance, and some recent pay stubs. Would that suffice?
Thanks
